March 26 – National Guard of Ukraine day

Twelve years ago, in March 2014, in response to the start of Russia’s aggression, the National Guard of Ukraine was reestablished. It brought numerous volunteer units under its banners. The resolve and valor of its personnel made the NGU a nightmare for occupiers and collaborators, who spread disinformation and sought to discredit it in every possible way.

Today, corps and independent units of the National Guard of Ukraine continue to carry out missions in the most challenging sectors of the front, holding off the occupiers and conducting successful counteroffensives. The achievements of NGU service members have been recognized with the highest state awards, with more than 100 Guardsmen awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

We continue the struggle, remembering our fallen brothers-in-arms and doing everything possible to free prisoners of war. The motto of the National Guard of Ukraine, “Honor. Courage. Law,” remains a moral compass for new fighters joining the ranks.

The First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine congratulates our brothers-in-arms on National Guard of Ukraine Day!

Glory to Ukraine!
