A sergeant’s mission is to be a leader — a role model for personnel and a reliable support for commanders. To fulfill this role, one must continuously improve as a master of their craft.

Regular training, stringent discipline, and effective command and control are essential to ensuring success and gaining an advantage over the enemy on the battlefield. This is the sergeant’s top priority.
