Artillery Division 20th Operational Brigade “Lubart”

About unit

In September 2025, the artillerymen became the first soldiers of the 20th Artillery Brigade “Lubart” to see combat in the area of responsibility of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov.” Since then, the artillery units have been continuously carrying out combat missions in the Dobropillia sector.

The artillery units are equipped with howitzers, self-propelled artillery systems of 122, 152, and 155 mm calibers, as well as multiple launch rocket systems.

In addition to fire support missions, pilots of the artillery divisions conduct deep reconnaissance using aircraft-type UAVs. They identify enemy ammunition depots and reconnaissance launch sites, monitor logistics routes, and track the movements of enemy artillery crews.

The main tasks of the “Lubart” artillery are to destroy enemy infantry on the front line, suppress enemy artillery and UAVs, and disrupt enemy logistics and supply systems.
