Communication Node 20th Operational Brigade "Lubart"

About unit

The Category 1 signals unit of the 20th Rapid Deployment Brigade ‘Lubart’ traces its origins back to the signals platoon of the ‘Lubart’ Rapid Deployment Task Force, which was formed in the early days of the full-scale invasion. Subsequently, the personnel served within the Special Operations Forces and later joined the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” as part of the 5th Special Purpose Battalion “Lyubart”. Today, the unit continues to carry out its tasks as the Category 1 Communications Node of the 20th ‘Lubart’ Operational Brigade.

Since its inception, the unit’s primary task has been to ensure stable, uninterrupted and secure communications between the brigade’s units in active combat conditions. The soldiers of the communications unit are responsible for organising communication channels, configuring and maintaining radio equipment, transmitting operational information, and implementing modern technological solutions for the coordination of combat operations.
