Requirements

  • basic technical knowledge of radio engineering and electronics (operating principles of transmitters, receivers, jammers, and antenna equipment);
  • understanding of the fundamentals of electronic warfare protection: types of threats (drones, surveillance devices, enemy communications) and methods of detecting and neutralizing them;
  • practical experience with EW protection devices (stationary, mobile, portable) is an advantage but not required — on-the-job training provided;
  • attentiveness, responsibility, and readiness to work under stressful, changing, or combat conditions;
  • ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations, and master new equipment.

Responsibilities

  • operating electronic warfare protection equipment (jammers, suppressors, anti-drone systems, etc.) as part of a unit to protect the subdivision;
  • rapidly deploying and packing up EW protection equipment depending on the task, changing situation, relocation, or engagement in combat;
  • configuring and switching operating modes of EW protection equipment according to instructions, adapting to specific types of threats (drones, radio channels, etc.);
  • monitoring the condition of one’s own equipment: checking serviceability, performing basic maintenance procedures, and reporting malfunctions to a superior.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
  • provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
