Responsibilities
- applying identification, symbolic, and text information onto metal and wood products using mechanical, laser, or manual engraving, including memorial, representational, and technical work;
- developing graphic layouts in specialized software (vector graphics) according to established standards and samples;
- configuring and operating engraving equipment (laser markers, CNC milling machines), selecting optimal power and speed settings for different surface types;
- preparing surfaces before engraving (grinding, degreasing, polishing) and finishing completed products (blackening, lacquering, painting);
- performing equipment maintenance: cleaning optical systems, calibrating mechanical components, and monitoring cooling systems;
- tracking consumables and maintaining documentation on completed work, resources used, and the condition of assigned property.
