First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine and 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces: joint staff training conducted

Officers from both corps headquarters worked on coordination and command-and-control tasks while studying and reinforcing modern principles of staff operations.

In particular, the staffs developed actions and plans that may serve as a foundation for future joint battlefield operations.

Personnel completed:

· synchronization of joint efforts, taking into account adjacent areas of responsibility on the battlefield;
· joint planning at the corps staff level;
· wargaming;
· study of rapid decision-making processes;
· review of MDMP/IPB — the NATO-standard decision-making process.

This format enabled the exchange of experience and strengthened coordination across all areas of staff activity in both corps.

Training for corps representatives was delivered by the Security Assistance Group–Ukraine (SAG-U).
