Family traditions, cherished places, favorite hobbies, photographs from before the war, and the voices of loved ones over the phone after returning from combat. The things that give us strength and remind us of the meaning behind everything we do.
Each of us is sustained by love. For those we must protect. For those we need to return from captivity. For what shaped who we are and what we believe will shape our children. For life itself — life that must go on, despite the enemy’s efforts to extinguish it.
