Behind each of these awards stands a personal story

Service members of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine received state and departmental awards. The decorations were presented by Colonel Mykyta “Raz-Dva” Nadtochii, Deputy Commander of the Corps. Three service members were awarded the Order “For Courage,” (III Class). Two were honored with one of the most prestigious distinctions — an award weapon. Awards were also presented in the form of the Presidential Distinction “For the Defense of Ukraine,” the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine” and “For Saving a Life,” distinctions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine breast badges, and other commendations. In his speech before presenting the awards, “Raz-Dva” emphasized:

Behind each of these awards stands a personal story. Some of you have given your health, your blood. Some have lost a brother-in-arms. Perhaps some of those receiving awards today have lost everything in a single moment. The entire unit understands why you came here and how you move toward your goal. And our goal is one — the destruction of the enemy, and you are achieving it with excellence.
