History

Baptism by fire

Summer 2023

The battalion saw its first combat action in the summer of 2023 in the Svatove sector—one of the most intense sections of the front at that time. It was there that the young unit gained experience in modern combat, proved its mettle, and demonstrated its ability to carry out missions amid fierce clashes with the enemy.

Serebryansky Forest

Spring 2024

In the spring of 2024, the battalion took part in a successful counteroffensive operation in the Serebryansky Forest District, during which the personnel demonstrated a high level of tactical training, determination, and the ability to act proactively in the challenging conditions of forested terrain. This operation became a notable chapter in the unit’s combat history and confirmed its ability to carry out offensive missions.

Kupiansk sector

June 2024 - February 2026

From late summer 2024 through February 2026, the battalion held its defensive positions in the Kupiansk sector — a strategically important section of the front where the enemy repeatedly attempted to achieve tactical success and advance deeper into Ukrainian-controlled territory. Despite constant pressure, heavy shelling, and repeated enemy attempts to break through the defensive line, our unit steadfastly held its positions, giving the enemy no chance of success.

Dobropillia sector

March 2026 - Present

Today, the battalion continues to carry out combat missions, holding the line in the Dobropillia sector, where it defends Ukrainian soil every day, despite all the challenges.
