About unit
The Support Battalion is responsible for providing logistical and material support to the brigade, ensuring continuous support for units both in the combat zone and at their permanent base. The battalion’s main areas of activity include the supply of ammunition, fuel and lubricants, food, clothing and other material and technical resources necessary to maintain the brigade’s combat readiness.
The battalion’s units are responsible for the storage, accounting and issue of supplies, organising logistics and the delivery of cargo, providing logistical support to the military unit, as well as carrying out tasks related to the security and defence of key facilities, in particular the main command post. A separate area of work involves ensuring the operation of the military firing range, maintaining the range’s infrastructure and organising the safe conduct of firing exercises.
The battalion comprises logistics, security and military police units, a military firing range support platoon, and an unmanned systems platoon, which provides logistics using unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based robotic systems.
The instructor section within the support battalion provides training and instruction for the brigade’s personnel.
