- knowledge of the basics of ballistics and the principles of artillery systems.

Responsibilities
- loading ammunition into the self-propelled gun;
- assisting the gunner in preparing the system for firing, checking mechanisms, and assisting with aiming;
- monitoring the status of the ammunition supply and replenishing it in a timely manner;
- participating in the maintenance of the self-propelled gun: cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor malfunctions;
- serving as a liaison between the crew and command in combat conditions;
- adhering to camouflage and safety rules while on position.
