Requirements

  • more than 1 year of professional experience in cybersecurity (infrastructure protection, incident response, and/or penetration testing);
  • a deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10, CVE/CWE classifications, and methods for defending against common attacks;
  • hands-on experience exploiting web vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, SSRF);
  • experience working with IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, Zeek) and analyzing network traffic;
  • practical knowledge of endpoint security: EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender);
  • understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMB);
  • experience working with Microsoft Active Directory;
  • proficiency in Kali Linux and offensive security tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Cobalt Strike);
  • experience writing scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell;
  • cybersecurity certifications (OSCP, OSCE, CEH, GPEN, GWAPT, or equivalent) — a plus.

Responsibilities

  • monitoring events via SIEM systems to detect and analyze potential threats;
  • investigating cyber incidents to identify root causes;
  • implementation and configuration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, WAF, DLP) to protect infrastructure;
  • planning and execution of cyberattack simulations on products, network infrastructure, and critical systems;
  • verification of the operation of IDS/IPS, SIEM, and EDR/XDR solutions;
  • developing and executing scenarios to bypass monitoring and protection systems;
  • creating detailed technical reports describing identified vulnerabilities and attack vectors;
  • developing and updating security policies and SOPs for software development teams;
  • conducting cybersecurity training for military personnel.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;

  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
