Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Linux System Administrator;
  • confident Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu, CentOS): Bash, systemd, network services, security, auditing;
  • understanding of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, VPN, Firewall;
  • understanding of secrets and access management principles (Secrets Management, RBAC, cert-manager);
  • experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible);
  • understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar systems;
  • experience with monitoring and centralized logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Zabbix, ELK, or similar solutions);
  • understanding of information security principles and basic infrastructure protection practices;
  • ability to create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, runbooks, and checklists;
  • good communication skills and experience interacting with development, support, and security teams.

Responsibilities

  • automating deployment, update, and scaling processes for services;
  • deploying, administering, and optimizing infrastructure services, including PostgreSQL and Redis;
  • building, developing, and maintaining monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Zabbix, ELK);
  • maintaining and creating CI/CD processes;
  • maintaining technical documentation, creating instructions, runbooks, and playbooks;
  • conducting regular infrastructure security audits and implementing improvement recommendations;
  • collaborating with development, testing, and information security teams to ensure the stability and reliability of services.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;

  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
