Requirements

  • fluency in English, both spoken and written;
  • knowledge of another foreign language is a plus;
  • experience working with the media—in journalism, PR, or international communications;
  • an understanding of how the Western press works and the logic behind how stories are developed;
  • organizational skills: coordinating interviews, film shoots, and accreditations;
  • good interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to build long-term relationships;
  • existing contacts in the international media community—a plus.

Responsibilities

  • maintains, updates, and expands the network of foreign media outlets and journalists;
  • processes inquiries from foreign media and systematically fosters contacts based on newsworthy events, rather than solely on incoming requests;
  • organizes interviews, film shoots, and other formats;
  • prepares and adapts press service materials for foreign audiences.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
  • provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
