Responsibilities
- ensuring stable, uninterrupted radio communication between units and with senior command;
- receiving, transmitting, and promptly processing messages via radios and other communication equipment;
- maintaining continuous communication across radio networks, keeping radio logs;
- technical maintenance, adjustment, and repair of radio equipment;
- compliance with safety and confidentiality rules when handling communications;
- performing tasks as part of the unit, including during combat operations.
Terms
