Requirements

emotional stability and ability to work under stress;
responsibility, attentiveness, composure;
initiative and ability to learn;
clear diction, ability to quickly perceive and retain information;
discipline, respect for commanders and fellow soldiers;
ability to work in a team and follow instructions;
good physical health;
fluent command of the Ukrainian language;
knowledge of radiotelephony, basic radio communications, and technical education will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

ensuring stable, uninterrupted radio communication between units and with senior command;
receiving, transmitting, and promptly processing messages via radios and other communication equipment;
maintaining continuous communication across radio networks, keeping radio logs;
technical maintenance, adjustment, and repair of radio equipment;
compliance with safety and confidentiality rules when handling communications;
performing tasks as part of the unit, including during combat operations.

Terms

the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
free access to training programs and lecture materials.

Yes. Units within the corps continue recruiting volunteers. As Azov’s responsibilities and operational scope grow, its recruitment center network will serve the needs of all Corps units. Azov Brigade’s recruitment centers will now be joined by representatives from other brigades that make up the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov serves as the foundation for the newly established First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine. However, the corps itself is led by a corps-level command group formed based on the officer cadre of the 12th Brigade.

Yes. The “Azov” corps can reinstate service members returning from AWOL (those who have left their assigned places of duty in the AFU or NGU) if they want to continue their service. For all service members – it is possible to return to service via a court hearing and a corresponding court decision. For NGU service members who left via AWOL – returning from AWOL is possible through the “Army+” app service.

Yes. AFU service members can transfer to the NGU and continue their service in “Azov”. We guide candidates through every stage of this process, consulting on the transfer procedure, assisting with the preparation of required documents, and coordinating all steps up until the moment of entry into our unit. Our goal is to make the transfer process into “Azov” as easy and transparent as possible, for all service members.

Yes. Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 24 can join “Azov” through the “Contract 18-24” program. This program involves voluntary service, professional training, military pay with bonuses, and full social benefits. Candidates can choose the type of contract (infantry or UAV) depending on their preference. We guide candidates through every step of signing the contract – from submitting an application and passing selection to the start of their service in “Azov”.
