Requirements

  • higher medical education;
  • professional experience in the field;
  • experience treating emergency patients;
  • proficiency in using various types of external fixation devices;
  • ability to perform soft tissue surgeries;
  • willingness to work in accordance with international standards for emergency medical care;
  • adherence to the principles of evidence-based medicine;
  • willingness to actively contribute to the development of the unit’s medical service;
  • commitment to bringing high-quality medical care closer to the wounded;
  • willingness to participate in medical planning;
  • willingness to undergo regular training and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • providing emergency care for fractures, dislocations, contusions, sprains, and other injuries;
  • performing immobilization (casting, applying splints and braces);
  • performing minimally invasive and open surgical procedures (as needed);
  • developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients;
  • monitoring the course of treatment and adjusting therapy as necessary;
  • maintaining medical records in accordance with requirements;
  • adhering to infection control standards.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
  • provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment bases, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
