Modern warfare transforms tactics and the rules of engagement, and so must the approach to supporting service members and their families.
A fighter serves with greater confidence when he knows his family is cared for. Care for the families of Azov service members is at the heart of the new support philosophy for First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine. This approach is implemented through the corps’ integrated Social Welfare Department: AZOV DBAIE.

Our Mission
To be a space of trust, growth, and remembrance for Azov — where every family has a foundation, and every service member serves with the confidence that their loved ones are in the care of the entire Azov family.
A New Standard of Responsibility
This is an approach never before systematically implemented in Ukraine’s military — a new level of accountability where care for families becomes part of a unit’s strength.
We are committed to making this the new norm: family support as an inseparable component of unit resilience and the service member’s inner foundation.

Why It Matters
We are building a community of Azov service members in which no family is ever left alone — and every fighter serves with the inner confidence that their loved ones will be looked after.
This is not only about assistance — it is about preserving the corps’ strength and raising the next generation, growing up on Azov values: in support, dignity, and unity.

Who We’re Here For
Children of Service Members
We unite care with development: not only providing support, but creating opportunities for learning, self-realization, and room to simply be children. At the same time, we preserve for children the experience of a normal childhood — with a sense of security, support, and belief in their own future.

Spouses and Partners of Service Members
We create an environment of stability, support, and opportunity for family growth while one partner is serving. This is a space where balance can be maintained between responsibility, daily life, and personal growth with a foundation, understanding, and access to the resources they need.
Parents of Service Members
We stand alongside the parents of service members with respect, attention, and systematic support. We are building a community in which their contribution and their children’s service are recognized as a value and a strength that sustains the nation — and where they themselves feel gratitude and know that their sacrifice does not go unnoticed.
