A boxing tournament held to honor the memory of fallen special operations fighters took place in Dnipro. The competition brought together 120 participants, 90 of whom are active-duty service members of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and military higher education institutions, with the remainder competing as juniors.
The sporting event was organized by Separate Special Forces Detachment Tuman, First Corps Azov, and the VATAGA Sports Club.
The top three places went, respectively, to representatives of units of First Corps Azov, the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov, and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Among cadets, first place went to a representative of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, second to a representative of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, and third to a representative of a state institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Sports competitions held in honor of fallen fighters are part of military tradition, helping to honor their memory and unite those who carry on their cause.
