The commander of First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, Brigadier General Denys “Redis” Prokopenko, presented 22 decorations to service members who distinguished themselves in repelling enemy attacks. Thanks to the steadfastness shown by the Corps’ fighters, the enemy has been unable to advance in the Dobropillia sector for a year.






Exploiting dense vegetation, Russian occupiers continue attempts at infiltration and assault actions. Within the Corps’ area of responsibility, however, such attempts cost them their lives.
Award firearms recognize courage and distinguished service in the performance of combat missions. The commander thanked the decorated fighters for their effective combat performance and wished them continued professional growth and sustained high morale.
