Combat Operations of 1 Corps Azov in July: Repelling Assault Actions, Cutting Off Logistics, and Defending the Skies

In July, the enemy, reinforced with fresh replacements, resorted to intensive assault operations using armored vehicles in the area of responsibility of 1 Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine. The result, however, was predictable: rising losses in both equipment and personnel of the Russian armed forces.

Over the course of the month, irrecoverable Russian losses in the corps’ area of responsibility amounted to 3,655 servicemen, with a further 1489 occupiers wounded and 11 taken prisoner.

Total enemy equipment losses, destroyed and damaged, in July were as follows:

  • 8 tanks
  • 8 armored combat vehicles
  • 129 artillery systems
  • 6 multiple rocket launcher systems
  • 895 units of motor vehicles
  • 3,206 fixed-wing strike UAVs and 136 fixed-wing reconnaissance UAVs
  • 1,220 strike quadcopters and 198 reconnaissance quadcopters
  • 445 engineering and fortification structures and command posts

Electronic warfare forces and assets suppressed:

  • 1,330 fixed-wing strike UAVs
  • 10,780 strike quadcopters
