Requirements

  • commitment to continuous learning and professional improvement;
  • experience driving tracked vehicles (excavator, combine harvester, tractor, etc.) will be a significant advantage;
  • possessing a tank driving license or a regular driver’s license is considered an advantage;
  • ability to react quickly to changing circumstances;
  • skills in technical maintenance and minor equipment repair — an additional advantage;
  • discipline, attentiveness, responsibility, and the ability to independently control one’s actions;
  • physical endurance and psychological resilience;
    high level of personal motivation.

Responsibilities

  • driving a tank (Leopard/T-64/T-72/T-80) in combat conditions and during training exercises;
  • ensuring the technical serviceability of the vehicle — maintaining the engine, transmission, running gear, fuel, and cooling systems;
  • conducting scheduled technical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs;
  • maintaining the tank in a state of constant combat readiness;
  • informing the tank commander of identified malfunctions and changes in the technical condition of the vehicle;
  • refueling the tank with fuel, lubricants, and coolant;
  • monitoring pressure in the systems, checking the condition of the tracks, braking system, and control instruments;
  • executing combat missions and orders from the tank commander;
  • participating in equipping the vehicle with ammunition, spare parts, tools, and accessories (SPTA), and necessary gear.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;

  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;

  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
