Requirements

  • age is between 18 and 45 years old;
  • understanding of the fundamentals of radio communication, data transmission principles, and equipment operation rules;
  • prior experience operating modern radio systems (DMR radios, repeaters, antennas, radio relay devices) — from power supply and physical protection to software management and technical specs — is a major plus;
  • background in information and telecommunication systems or radio communications will be an advantage;
  • experience in configuring and flashing digital communication equipment (radios, satellite transmitters, digital network hardware);
  • practical skills in microelectronics repair, using soldering stations, and diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) are considered a significant plus;
  • skills in operating, maintaining, and repairing power generators, storage batteries, inverters, and electrical equipment (12/24V, 220V) are a strong advantage;
  • attention to detail, persistence, and emotional resilience;
  • responsible approach to work, compliance with safety protocols, and adherence to technical standards;
  • analytical mindset with a systematic problem-solving approach to accurately diagnose and resolve technical faults;
  • ability to work effectively under high-stress conditions and psychological pressure;
  • readiness to perform tasks in combat zones, paired with a capacity for rapid learning and self-improvement;
  • physical health and fitness level adequate for carrying out tasks of moderate physical intensity.

Responsibilities

  • maintaining the operational status of all communication equipment, including radio stations, telephones, and telecom devices;
  • mounting, configuring, and testing radio and telecommunications equipment, including deployment in field conditions;
  • conducting technical inspections, monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and restoring DMR radios, repeaters, and antennas;
  • flashing and configuring digital communication hardware (radios, repeaters, satellite transmitters, digital network equipment);
  • performing commissioning, testing, and repair operations for radio and telecom infrastructure;
  • constructing, testing, and commissioning antenna-feeder lines for radio communication;
  • optimizing and improving the performance of communication networks and equipment for maximum efficiency.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
