Requirements
Responsibilities
- operating portable X-ray and ultrasound equipment;
- performing the FAST protocol to rapidly detect internal bleeding in the abdominal cavity, pericardium, and pleural cavities;
- performing the BLUE protocol to diagnose pneumothorax and assess lung condition;
- musculoskeletal ultrasound: assessing soft tissue, detecting hematomas and occult fractures;
- ultrasound-guided central venous catheter placement in critically ill patients;
- diagnosing chest injuries, including identification of hemothorax and pneumothorax;
- localizing foreign bodies (fragments, bullets) in the chest and soft tissue, including radiopaque metal fragments;
- rapid assessment of limb and pelvic fractures prior to applying an external fixation device;
- X-ray verification of correct chest tube (pleural drain) placement and bone fragment alignment after external fixation.
Terms
- the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
