Responsibilities
- organizing the work of the tank crew (Leopard/T-64/T-72/T-80) — managing and coordinating the actions of the gunner and driver-mechanic;
- ensuring the combat readiness of the tank: serviceability of armament, equipment, communication means, availability of ammunition and fuel, monitoring of technical maintenance;
- organizing combat, tactical, technical, and fire training of the crew, conducting briefings and training sessions;
- monitoring adherence to discipline and order within the crew;
- making tactical decisions in combat — selecting positions, methods of fire engagement, maneuvering;
- timely and accurate execution of combat orders as part of a unit;
- ensuring interaction with other units and maintaining communication with the command during the execution of tasks;
- preserving equipment, armament, property, as well as the lives and health of subordinates;
- adherence to established safety measures.
