Requirements

  • relevant technical education;
  • work experience as a mechanic (3+ years), repairing cars, trucks, or military vehicles; experience working in field conditions will be an advantage;
  • knowledge of the structure, operating principles, and technical specifications of mechanical equipment, including military vehicles (cars, armored vehicles, generators, engineering equipment);
  • fault diagnostic skills, analytical thinking for identifying complex malfunctions;
  • ability to work with tools and spare parts;
  • fitness for service based on health condition, physical and psychological resilience;
  • ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and coordination with other technical specialists and units;
  • discipline, absence of harmful habits (alcohol, drug, or gambling addiction, etc.);
  • readiness to work in areas of active combat;
  • no criminal record and no outstanding credit debt.

Responsibilities

  • technical maintenance and repair of military equipment and vehicles;
  • inspecting mechanical systems to identify malfunctions, diagnosing engine and armored vehicle performance;
  • repairing mechanical units and assemblies: replacing parts, adjusting, lubricating, restoring;
  • organizing repairs in field workshops, performing urgent repair work in combat zones or under limited-resource conditions;
  • installing and configuring new equipment, participating in the modernization of weapons and vehicles to improve their effectiveness or adapt them to new conditions;
  • providing technical support to combat units;
  • performing other duties assigned to the position, complying with discipline and regulations.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;

  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
