Requirements

  • developed analytical thinking, attention to detail, persistence, and stress resilience;
  • high level of discipline, responsibility, and communication skills;
  • confident personal computer literacy, deep knowledge of computer hardware, and fast typing skills;
  • ability to work with texts, spreadsheets (including MS Excel), maps, topography, images, and digital data arrays;
  • capability to rapidly process large volumes of information and make quick decisions;
  • eagerness for continuous learning and professional self-improvement;
  • prior military or combat experience, analytical work background, knowledge of programming fundamentals, or experience in geodesy and cartography will be an advantage;
  • practical experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth), aerial photo interpretation (decryption), understanding of UAV operational principles, and basic piloting skills (such as Mavic drones, “Boryvieter” training certificates, etc.) are a strong plus;
  • ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain technical equipment (laptops, tablets, smartphones) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • conducting aerial reconnaissance using multirotor or fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • collecting, thoroughly analyzing, and processing reconnaissance data obtained from UAVs (photos, video feeds, coordinates);
  • deciphering aerial imagery, identifying targets, and plotting detected objects into the Delta system;
  • performing maintenance, technical inspections, diagnostics, and routine repairs of UAV equipment;
  • preparing analytical materials, reports, and documentation for the command;
  • working with maps, topography, situational awareness systems, and specialized software;
  • maintaining databases, organizing and archiving intelligence materials while ensuring information accuracy and relevance;
  • coordinating, interacting, and providing comprehensive support to UAV crews, the command center, and adjacent units.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;

  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment sites, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;

  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
