Requirements

  • relevant education or specialized training;
  • excellent knowledge of all types and methods of organizing military communications;
  • excellent knowledge of military communications encryption;
  • understanding of the fundamentals of electromechanics, electrical engineering, and internet technologies;
  • understanding of the basics of telecommunications and radio communications;
  • skills in performing specialized installation and repair work;
  • ability to correctly use the necessary equipment designed to monitor various means of communication;
  • good health;
  • clear diction;
  • ability to quickly comprehend and retain information;
  • responsibility;
  • attentiveness;
  • composure.

Responsibilities

  • ongoing maintenance of military communications equipment;
  • regular monitoring of signal transmission quality between communication points;
  • restoration of communications equipment and methods in areas affected by military operations, natural disasters, and accidents;
  • encryption of military communications;
  • interception of enemy communications;
  • sabotage operations to damage enemy units’ communication channels;
  • periodic investigation of causes and troubleshooting of military communication devices and lines;
  • design and development of new telecommunication or radio communication schemes;
  • organization of mobile and portable military communication stations.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
  • provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment bases, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
