- experience commanding artillery units, preferably in combat conditions;
- knowledge of the technical specifications and tactics for the use of self-propelled artillery systems;
- a high level of responsibility, leadership qualities, and the ability to handle stress;
- the ability to make quick tactical decisions in challenging conditions.

- organizing and managing the combat operations of the self-propelled artillery unit;
- planning and coordinating fire missions, monitoring the accuracy and effectiveness of fire;
- ensuring the combat readiness of equipment and personnel, monitoring the technical condition of self-propelled artillery units;
- coordinating with command and adjacent units to achieve operational objectives;
- maintaining discipline, psychological well-being, and morale among personnel.
