Requirements

  • a degree in military science or equivalent training in artillery units;
  • experience commanding artillery units, preferably in combat conditions;
  • knowledge of the technical specifications and tactics for the use of self-propelled artillery systems;
  • a high level of responsibility, leadership qualities, and the ability to handle stress;
  • the ability to make quick tactical decisions in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

  • organizing and managing the combat operations of the self-propelled artillery unit;
  • planning and coordinating fire missions, monitoring the accuracy and effectiveness of fire;
  • ensuring the combat readiness of equipment and personnel, monitoring the technical condition of self-propelled artillery units;
  • coordinating with command and adjacent units to achieve operational objectives;
  • maintaining discipline, psychological well-being, and morale among personnel.

Terms

  • the opportunity to serve under contract or through mobilization until the end of martial law;
  • the opportunity for active-duty service members to transfer from other units;
  • provision of high-quality, modern equipment and technical support;
  • service at training grounds, at the unit’s permanent deployment bases, and in field conditions;
  • basic pay ranging from 25,000 to 127,000 UAH, depending on duties and place of service;
  • ongoing medical, psychological, and social support;
  • free medical treatment and rehabilitation;
  • regular training with professional instructors to improve combat skills;
  • free access to training programs and lecture materials.
